What do BBB Files show about Concord Management?

Here are a few of the complaints from the BBB of Central Florida, Inc. about Concord Management, LTD.  From the BBB Files here are a few of the 54 complaints closed with BBB in last 3 years.   27 were closed in last 12 months.   (35 were about product/service)  The BBB now has all complaints available to read on their site, it is well worth taking the time to read them so you can decide if you want anything to do with ANY Concord property (my advice:  AVOID any Concord managed complex)

Keep in mind that there are 6 other files open for other Concord Management properties in central Florida, all of these over and above the 51 complaints under this listing.

07/08/2013 Problems with Product / Service

Complaint Category: Failure to honor refund, exchange or credit policies

Complaint: This management company has not issued my security deposit refund within the legal timeline in which they were required to do so.

I lived in an apartment community in Wixom, MI called Meadowood Park Apartments, which is owned by Concord Management and I moved out of the apartment on 5/1/2013. Under Michigan law, my security deposit is to be returned to me within 30 days if no damages are claimed.

It is now 6/10/2013 and I still have not received my refund in the amount of $200.00, even though the complex acknowledges that I am entitled to a full refund. I have spoken with the apartment complex manager a few times about the situation, but I am told that all refunds are handled by the company's corporate offices, which is Concord Management in Florida. The company's website does not list a contact phone number, instead instructing people to contact the local complex manager.

That just takes me in circles as again, the local manager tells me that refunds are handled by corporate. I lived in the Meadowood Park community for 5 years and have a pristine record as a tenant. As there were no damages to be disputed, I should have received my refund no later than 5/31/2013.

Complaint Category: Failure to substantiate charges

Complaint: I was accessed an unfair and illegal fine.

I was accessed a fine of 75.00 for setting a TV outside the dumpster. In the past we have been allowed to sit unwanted items in front of the dumpster. There are unwanted items in front of the dumpster on a daily basis. We placed it there during normal office hours, we were not trying to hide the fact that we were placing it there otherwise we would have did it after the office was closed. The office manager says they tried to stop my son, but they did not. My son says that no one said anything to him. No one called to tell me to remove it. No one called to say I would be fined. I was not given a chance to right the wrong.


There is nothing posted that says no large items are you will be fine. The office manager asked If I wanted to go look at the sign sarcastically, it was like she was trying to prove a point and it was very unprofessional. I left because I could see where the conversation was going. I called back asked for the corporate number ****** asked me what for, I told him it was personal. He then said I would have to get it from his manager. I told him its on the website why do I have to get it from your manager , his response was "well get it off the website". Of course there is not a number listed , you can't resolve the issue with the office you have the issue with. How is this process fair to the tenants ? The office can call you for everything else, but no one called for something as simple as this?

This fine is very unfair. Again there is nothing posted that says you will be fined for placing items in front of the dumpster , nothing in my lease that says that. I would have gladly removed the TV , I had not ideal I could'nt put it there. MY rent is 475.00, with the late payment fee it is 525.00, I was prepared for that, with the fine it is 600.00. I cannot afford to pay that amount. No consideration was given in this matter. All they had to do was call and say that I could not do that and I would have corrected it. Legally how can you access fines without having a warning sign posted ?

Complaint Category: Failure to honor service estimate or agreement

Complaint: Company failed to return funds from deposit as part of contractual agreement.
Moved out of company's property 08/29/12, and have not received rent deposit back as of yet. Contacted property (Northbridge on Milenia) to inquire about deposit, rep stated that their corporate office has my file and to contact them.


I have attempt to reach out to their corporate office about this matter several times, but to no avail. Left several detailed voice messages and sent out emails for regional manager Rosa Finawick and Chris Barnett, only received one returned call back since I've moved. I payed a full months rent of $687.00, and was informed that due to some unknown trash left and furniture after I moved I'm supposed to receive only about $450.00. In which is fine, but I still have not receive any correspondence back from the property (Northbridge on Milenia) or their corporate office (Concord Management LTD. All I want is my deposit back that is due to me, being that I have fulfilled all of my requirements and obligations.

At this point I am amazed at the unprofessionalism that has been shown in this matter, and the neglect to assist with a resulotion. I indicated the urgency that receiving my deposit meant to me, and now due to the payment being so delayed and no compliance on their part. I was unable to fulfill another financial obligation on time, and will probably be in jeopardy of getting docked on my credit score report. Until this situation, I would have gladly considered another property own by this company (Concord Management LTD,)and or recommended them to someone else. But I couldn't rent from a property/company who takes less consideration of their tenents/ex tenents needs and rights.

Complaint:
I've been in dispute with my water bill for over a year. For the past 3 months I've taken pictures of my water meter and the numbers on the meter don't match the numbers on my bill. I've submitted information to my appartment complex, Charleston Club apt. and the water company. The water company keep sending information to the apt complex to fill out and submit back to them so they can investigate. Needless to say my apartment complex has not returned the information and they won't return my phone call. Charleston Club owns the meter @ this location per my water company has advised me. It's ok for 1 1/2 person to live in this apartment and pay $70 for water that obviously I'm not using.

Complaint:
I moved into a Concord Management apartment complex named Cambridge Cove in Lakeland, Florida on October 31, 2008. The apartment had many things broken, filthy carpet and black mold. I immediately contacted the leasing office about the problem. They said they would take care of it but never did. After weeks of no response from the leasing office I decided to call the Concord Management Corporate office.

I would leave messages and no one would return my calls. I sent emails that I still have copies of.  Out of all the emails I sent, I received one response telling me the District Manager would be calling me to help me with my problem. The district manager never called. After a few months of no help my 3 year old son was getting increasingly sick due to the black mold. I could not continue to allow those conditions to affect his health. I was forced to move out. After all this Concord Management put a negative account on my credit report stating I owe them $1552. They did not return my security deposit. Because of their lack of concern I ended up having to pay hospital bills for my son getting sick due to the black mold and extra moving expenses.

Failure to provide itemized billing as requested

Complaint: Concord has me running in circles
After pulling my credit report, I noticed a collection account from Concord Management. I called the phone number listed from this site to inquire about account resolution. I was told that it was related to delinquent balance from Brookwood Forest stemming from 2007.


I was given a phone number to NCC, whom I called and was told they could not locate the account. I called back to Concord to inform them that NCC stated they had no record of the account in question. I was again told to call NCC, this time they gave me an account number. Again NCC stated that they did not have any record of the account. After a third time of calling Concord they transferred me to someone who stated that they would call NCC to help them locate the account and have someone get back with me. As of yet, no one from NCC nor Concord has contacted me to resolve the issue.

Complaint Category: Invalid or false contract

Complaint: My credit report contains a negative collections account pertaining to a Concord Management apartment lease which I was removed from prior.


When Concord Management was still overseeing Park West Club apartments in Monroe, MI, I obtained a joint lease with ***** ******* in the Spring of 2008. Several months later, I moved out of the apartment, and at that time our rent was current. Prior to moving, I went into the leasing office and all parties signed to legally remove my name from any association/liability with said lease. Sometime later, Mr. ******* was apparently evicted for non-payment.


When I began recieving calls from collections, I informed them that I was no longer associated with the account and I also informed Park West Club Apartments via phone-call of the error. I assumed the issue was resolved since I didn't recieve any additional correspondance from a collections agency regarding this delinquent account, however, I recently discovered that it is contained on my credit report as a current negative account of MINE, which is false. I have very recently filed a dispute request with the credit bureau, however the blame rests with Concord Management for providing my name to collections for this account in the first place and not correcting the problem when I informed them. Credit is a very important thing to be screwed up because of neglegance.

Complaint:
I live at Cambridge Cove and have for two years, signed a new lease recently. I have had problem with roaches, they come in from the walls or other apartments. I have been getting pest control almost monthly and am starting to tire of it all. They come in and spray and that is it and the roaches keep coming in, sometimes up to ten a day and the spray does not always work. I did not sign up for this and want something done and am not sure how best to handle this problem. Please help!!! If I still have this problem by the end of this new lease I just signed I am gone.

Complaint Category: Failure to honor promised refunds, exchanges, or credit

Complaint:
Castle Woods Apartments has refused to give me any information on the $600+ they owe me after I moved out.


Approx 7 mos before my lease was up, I began to notice mold in my apartment around my A/C vents. I notified the front office of the issue multiple times and nothing was done. 2 months prior to my lease ending, my A/C broke down. I withheld rent, due to the mold and the A/C issues. They then decided to file for eviction. I fought it and, because of the negligence on their part, they settled with me prior to going to court.

They agreed to credit me a full month's rent, due to the MAJOR maintenance issues. They fixed my A/C and performed a small amount of mold remediation (claimed they sprayed chemicals in the vents) 3 days before I was set to move out. Since then (7/1/2012), I have tried contacting them multiple times regarding my credit (I am owed over $600 between the credit and my deposit) and have received no response. How is Concord Management Ltd rated on Glassdoor.com?

Cons: 
Support structures are not always as knowledgeable as would be expected, very little opportunity for advancement without intra- or inter-state moving if hired at a satellite property.

No support structure for anonymously reporting unprofessional behavior, occasional hiring or advancement of employees on factors other than ability to perform functions of position (as anywhere).

Occasional failure of advancement for qualified employees (trading short term stability in one position for long term employee retention), stringent hierarchy (assumptions that titles translate to knowledge or responsibility), failure to acknowledge top on site performers in aspects other than leasing.

Rent amount changes every two weeks,or daily depending on if you go in office and ask to give printout,oh by the way was told yesterday that they dont give printouts anymore.

I'M over stress and health and axieties have worsen being and dealing with concord.

This is a beautiful property that can do so much better. It really does sale itself its just ran by the wrong lady.. She has no heart.. All employees are to follow the rules. That's why the once who care about making this a better place are long gone... They could not stand to see people being lied to. This is not luxury at all. But they sale it as if it was. I meet the good hearted employees that tried to make a difference but when you have the above with cold hearts and don't care at all about the residents or even trying to give good customer service you will get no where.

The staff was replaced with trained to be unprofessional and trained to have no customer service at all staff. The New faces are so lost with zero experience which will never help the situation. If only they would actually think about a better strategy on how to keep employees happy and give residents what leasing is selling, That would actually start and end things a bit different. I have also spoken to hard working professional Residents that also love there apartment and location, close to everything but they are moving out because its too dirty in here..

Breezeways are so nasty. It's embarrassing to bring guest over. Even if they moved all the section 08 people out I don't think this would make a difference. Breeze ways have noting to do with them. Security has nothing to do with them. Office customer service and the big boss lady has nothing to do with them... Wrong faces for the job and bad attitude. People that care about others and want to make the difference is what a community like this needs. They can do it they just don't want too. It's easier to ignore the situation and still get the paycheck at the end of the week. It's easier to have a cold heart then to actually work a little harder in giving excellent customer service and getting things done right! Well I'll end by saying yes! you will get a nice layout with lots of amenities but, bad customer service and a dirty property is not worth it...

I hate this place and the leasing agent Lillian DIaz is so ghetto!!! Not to mention unprofessional and she is racist.. My rent money order was stolen . I was force to make a police report.. Had to pay a lare fee..My car was broken into.. A gated community for nothing .So many people hang out in the apartments.. Just a very bad experience!!! I hate these apartments!!!!

I recently in march wrote a review,, its a shame how things still have not changed...instead it's worse ,,there are poop by the mail box entrance,, disgusting!! and also the garbage cans get very full and base that is full people are some times pigs and the drop it on the floor,,maintance are being very lazy they go bye these full bins and do not even bother to take care of it,,not even pick up the garbage from the floors,,it's shame how the say that northbridge are luxery apts,but the truth is that there are not realy, i walk around the whole entire complex and i see so much poop and garbage on the floors and on the grass, I am tired of getting sewer bill so high,its discusting , they never told us about these high rates just to use the bathroom..now i heard that the rent might be increased,sorry I do not think they should increase, is enough of the high sewer rates we are being charged already.


I heard that they are drug dealers living in this complex wow thats too much ..the pools on weekened on the back gets very full and very noisey and too much bad words , i could never go on a weekened because is too much,,drama too, the pool always ends up dirty and the end of the day on weekeneds, empty bottle and socks and chip bags and the chairs are all over the place, I wish they had rules to leave the pool clean after they do a parties and they should have a time limit on the day, to give other people to enjoy the pool in peace, we as tenants have the right to live and enjoy things in peace intead of all the pigs and screaming and cursing, we pay too much money here,,I am not thinking of renewing because of this...this will give a bad reviews about this place if things do not change..

It gets more nervewrecking to live here with every day that comes. Police helicopters are flying around the complex weekly, if not daily. Neighbors (the kind of people that live here) are loud as can be, even at 3 a.m. I find myself calling security and complaining at least couple of times per week... And that goes not for just any little thing, but obvious issues that are preventing any resident to feel safe and enjoy their living environment. You want to feel as if you are protected, esp. if you've got small kids and are paying for the security. However, people jump the fences from the neighbor apartments and anything could happen. I feel like there is a need to do a thorough area check up every few mins or so. There should be just one person that does it. This area is not the best one in town and a HIGH security is very much called for to prevent burglaries in poorly dim areas of the complex. I find myself having sleepless nights living here and with different events every week, it became more like a "scarry entertainment".


Something needs to be done here security-wise. In other words, look ELSEWHERE!!! Point made clear.

Northbridge is the perfect example of an incompetent management staff filling a property with low rent minority section 8 cases, and turning a beautiful new apartment complex into a vandalized crime infested ghetto in no time at all. And that is only half of it. Move in at your own peril.

I moved into Northbridge in April 2012, my lease ended on april 1, 2013. After living there a year, always paying my rent for a 3 bedroom in full and always on this, this place had the nerve to renew my lease although I put in a 60 notice to vacate because said they could not find my notice after they fired all the staff. I found out that I put my notice in on the staffs last day at northbridge so of course they did not put it in my fill.


So now after a year I was told by Concord management my credit report will show I did not pay my rent after april 2013. I spent almost every day for a year in the offices about issue which they refused to fix, I never had access to the resident gate. Security at the guess gate uses you information by doing background check and are very rude. its takes up to 20 minutes to get on the property. the leasing office does not care and does not know how to do their job and if you ask to talk to a manager, they are never available NEVER. So not I have to get a lawyer to make sure my credit is not destoyed by a property who does not know how to do their job

This place is truly a piece of shit­. the biggest "ghetto in diguise" ... its a shame. i left there in october of 2011 and i paid 3,000$ to break my lease. i STILL have the "uuugh" feeling whn i hear Northbridge. Good luck. Screw them dor every penny!!

This is an HONEST review written by me, a resident who has lived in Northbridge Apartments near Millenia Mall for 2 years. Moved out in March of 2013 - had enough! I first moved straight to these Apts. from Boston, MA due to a job management promotion/relocation. I am a very reasonable, educated, hard working professional. In all honesty, moving to Northbridge was clearly a mistake.

The place is definitely overpriced for what they offer:

1. Swimming pool is always full of noisy Sect. 8 kids?/often without parental supervision. I wouldn't dare to swim there. Can imagine it's pretty dirty.

2. Gym has a nasty smell to it and is also full of parents and their small children (4-5 kids per family -the usual-).


3. Small children are running around the complex, again, without parental supervision and creating noise all over the place. EX: One time I saw a child trying to escape from his 2nd floor balcony. I wonder where the parents were...(This pretty much should explain what kind of people live here).

4. Parking - space is very limited (first come first serve basis). EX: If you are a resident, on a full night, unfortunately, you are not guaranteed a spot. So, good luck.


5. Broken glass and bottles on the parking lot laying out there for days without being cleaned up. Notice: the management acts as if they do not notice it.


6. SECURITY - BIG ISSUE.  It is as if there is no security, but you do pay for it anyway. Believe it or not. I am guessing for the look of "the gates" themselves. One door is open (the one closer to the lake to be precise), so anyone can come in and out at any time. That is exactly how criminals can get in. Still to this day, it is not fixed, believe me, a friend still lives there. In January of this year, there was a burglary followed by a shooting right next to my building. The whole thing was on the news. News were conducting interviews of the residents, honest like me, and as soon as the Apt Complex found that out, they immediately kicked out the news channel off of the property. Truth hurts, ain't it?


Guess what? This was not the first crime incident these apts have had. It took the apartment complex a few good crime scenes (i'm talking about 20 deputies on the scene with about 5-7 emergency vehicles) yellow tape all over the building...to change the Security guidelines. And up until this day, there are no set rules. People can still get in and out, if they really want to. Currently, you can still get in the complex, just enter the gate code, if a person you're visiting doesn't answer, just show your ID to the officer, and he'll let you in. Office has asked everyone to provide new information, which they did not communicate to the security. Its a mess, like I said. So ANYONE CAN GET IT, if they are smart enough and are out there to get what they need.

Now, I constantly had different kind of strangers knocking at my doors. Where these people come from? No idea. But it tells you the kind of environment you live in. The management/staff consists of stuck up females who most likely only have their GED/ luckily a High School Diploma, very luckily few classes at ITT tech. Plainly speaking, they are uneducated, uninformed employees who are most likely overworked by everything that is going on at that place.

7. Who are they kidding? Sect. 8 still exists and do not believe if they are telling you otherwise. Trust me, when you walk in there with proof that you are Sect. 8 candidate, they immediately find you a place to live. Want to know the rates? (1 bedroom for $600 or 2 bedrooms for around $700). Not bad, huh? While you're out here paying twice as much. Unequal standards. It isn't fair, because when your neighbors are out here getting food stamps, wearing t-shirts with holes in them, and you're out here driving a Rovers and BMW's, it all results that your neighbors are giving you dirty looks and looking at you with hatred. Why put middle and lower class both in the same building? I just don't see any sense in it. But guess who's paying for their food stamps? Me! That's right, the hardworking tax payers.

8. At least 2-3 move outs each month in the building. Cops are constantly visiting the neighbor's apartments for issues and problems. You see few police vehicle at least few times per week. Neighbors are loud. They keep moving their furniture in and out of the building. It's completely insane.

9. Maintenance: sometimes you call in, and no one will be there to help you for days. And actually, as I was getting closer to my move out date: i made a call and no one decided to come in at all.

10. Their complex lake is very dirty.

11. Pets poop all over the apt complex.

......There is too much to tell, but main highlights are here..

Take it from me - think twice before moving in.

We just moved in this apt last year in November and we already want it to be a year so we can NOT renew our lease!!!!I heard lots of rumors and read all the reviews about this complex ,, but we wanted to give it a chance for ourselves!!!The person who did our lease was very nice and is not her fault ,, and of course she do not live here...But we regret being here and we were better off where we were at last apt...at least they solved immediately the tenants problems with out ex-tra $$$ charges!!

Northbridge charges for everything like these were CONDOS... There are infested with fleas and ticks in the grass...Poop everywhere is disgusting,,this tells you what kind of people live here!! Since I moved in There is someone in the building constantly putting there garbage in front of my door and the door across my neighbor It happened 6 times and every time I complaint about it ,, they always tell us we will solve it ,,yes they remove it each time but it still happens..anything you complain about to the ladies in the office acts like recorders always repeating the same answers ("we will solve it ,,thank you for calling and sorry" Then they hang up quickly!! how rude is that ,,they just blow you off ,,they do that in person too,,,)Its a shame these apts are kinda nice and the complex it self is different ..but the maintenance its ok!!not as fast but is ok!!it needs improvement, instead worrying about so much the plants and trees ,,thats good anyway but they should take care of the tenants complains too ,,besides we are the one paying for all of that ,,with the high value of these rents..in this complex..even to use the bathroom they charge (sewer charges$$ its so funny and so sad..)if we pay pet fee !!and still get no service for that,,like flea and tick exterminator for the grass and for the apt..they charge extra for that too..WOW.. maybe! hopefully!! it changes soon..before I leave ,,so maybe People would stay longer.. Terrible place to live. I was fooled when I first signed my lease a year and a half ago. I had no problems until the last 6 months. There was a shooting in the complex and someone was killed, the other injured. Staff is terrible to deal with, unprofessional and unhelpful. Maintenance tries to do a job quickly, my Air cond broke and have had maintenance come twice in order to try and fix and it just broke again. 

Neighbors blast music and yell loudly in the corridors. My friends car was stolen in the parking lot. Just an overall bad place to live. Right next to Oak Ridge which is a bad area. I would love to break my lease but it is very expensive to do so.

Do not move in here!!  Pay a little extra and go somewhere safe!!! I wish I had moved somewhere else :(

I have lived at Northbridge for 5 months now and am in the process of breaking my lease. This complex is a joke. The grounds are all poorly lit at night. Security at the gate is completely worthless, it usually takes 15 minutes just to get into the complex. There have been regular burglaries and robberies since I moved in. There have also been two shootings in the short period I've lived here, one resulting in a death, and two other people were wounded. Needless to say, security isn't doing their job. I absolutely do not feel safe living here.

As other reviews have mentioned, this complex accepts section 8 housing. That means you get to live right next to drug-dealers, parolees, convicts and sex offenders who get to pay half the price you will to live in this crap-hole. Also, the area in general is very dangerous, you will be living less than 4 miles away from Orange county's largest prison. There are expensive electricity/water bills in excess of $300 because of high "water reclamation fees." IE, it will cost you three times as much for the water to go down the drain than it does to come out of the faucet! The office staff blatantly lied to my face when I originally asked about fees to terminate my lease (just in case something was to happen) and now it's coming to be more $3,000 just to get out of this "community." I'm pretty sure there is no one in this complex that actually has any clue on how to properly run this community. 

DO NOT MOVE HERE! RUN AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN!

We were charmed into thinkng this place was very nice back in May 2012, and decided this was where we wanted to move when we came to Orlando. From July to December it wasn't bad, but on Christmas Eve the nightmare started. A family with 3 very loud, obnoxious and misbehaved children moved in above us, and it became a nightmare. We filed several complaints with security about the noise.

The kids were running and jumping off furniture after quiet hours. Initially the man denied speaking English, but eventually we learned he did speak English. Complaints were filed and nothing was done. Management is a joke, and refused to move the family above us. We were made to believe that we were the "bad guys" which is absolute bs. We just wanted it to be quiet after hours. We demanded to get out of our lease, since nothing was done and were met with non caring attitudes. We ended up breaking our lease because we are sick of the poor management, and not to mention a murder occurred last month. People who lived nearby would throw their trash on our doorstep and we even had a dog use the bathroom on our doormat.

Do not move here. Management is a joke. The buildings while nice looking are poorly constructed. Found out earlier this place supports section 8 housing, which makes the murder there not as surprising anymore.

Spend your hard earned money on a lease elsewhere. You've been warned.

A muder thursday night on estabrook woods!! Neighbor upstairs start making noise always after 2 am!! I wanna get out of here anybody has tips how to break the lease without paying them 2 months rent??

ur screwed. i hate to say it this way, but they will not ONLY take the 2 months rent, they will also make up charges and penalties and send you bills 2 months later saying that u owe bogus "water bills" for 200 $'s plus carpet cleaning 150$ and more!

Well I wish them luck in trying to rent some of the properties that are above the retail places at full price. Only a fool would pay them. I hope you're talking about the bar because the other place was forced to close for a bit due to a bunch of health code violations not too long after it opened. I heard that there was a shooting in the building where the store is not too long ago. Convenient? Yes. Worth the price even at low income prices? Not by a long shot.

From move-in day to move-out day, nothing but disrespect, lies, theft, stress and a lot of headaches! The office staff is a group of individuals that appear to be on day one of their first job.. everyday. They know nothing, send you in circles.. management at least speaks some English.


They will not answer your questions and charge you for the most random things ever. Don't EVER let maintenance go in your unit without you home. Everyone I know there including myself was robbed by them. The security is awful and all the residents from the apartments beside this place (government aided) people hangout at Northbridge for no reason except to cause trouble. Northbridge wont tell you that they are mixed with section whatever so you can be paying $1000 a month and your neighbor pays $350 a month. Dont do it!

When I decided to move in to this community I was very excited and impress with all the amenities the property had to offer, on that first day I was offered a second floor 1 bedroom unit with a beautifull lake view, my main concern was the noise coming from the apartmet above, the leasing agent told me not to worry since an old lady lived upstairs by herself.



After a few days I notice how bad the construction was and how bad the noises were and how horrible is to find a parking space at night.That's when my problem started but I decided to take care of the situation myself. To my surprise I notice that we don't have an old lady upstairs but 3 people living in a 1 bedroom apt.


Now I'm living in a horrible situation with loud noises after 10pm everyday, people banging on my door, and with a management office that don't care. Too sad at this point after the fith attemp to have management or the property manager do something about it, my situation haven't change and it's even getting worst, it's unbelievable that I'm paying for a 1 bedroom what I can pay for a house.Living in an UPSCALE community with no parkings available and I can't even sleep or watch tv without having to listen to the constant banging!!!

I'm very frustrated with this community. I'm one of the income-based tenants. I fell on hard times and needed a place to live. I found this place and knew that it wouldn't be fantastic but it's so much worse than that. I live above the bar, something that I didn't know was going to happen until AFTER I signed the lease. I was pregnant at the time. I was on a wait list and an apartment came up for me. That's all I knew.

I do take some of the blame because I should have found out which apartment it was before I signed the lease. Why would they put a pregnant woman above a bar' I can't sleep through the night due to the floor and my bed vibrating from bass. There's constantly noise outside from bar patrons. They are out there until all hours. They play -------- outside at least twice a week and believe me it's loud. They yell and rev motorcycles. The lady that owns the bar is really nice but they should've never put a bar in a mixed-use community.

I have a huge balcony but can't use it due to people always smoking outside. They smoke in the stairwells and the halls smell like smoke. I've had people smoking weed in the stairwells. I told them to stop. I haven't seen them recently. I've tried talking to the front office about all of this...they could care less. Apparently I make too much money to move to another apartment. How frustrating...

Many of the people who live here are disgusting and filthy. They throw their garbage wherever they are and allow their dogs to crap on sidewalks. They don't clean up after their pets. Management does not enforce breed restrictions. There are pitbulls in the neighborhood and I know of one that the owners walk it without a leash.

Parking is hard to come by AND people drive through here at insane speeds. I hear accidents outside at least once a week.

The apartment layout is nice. The bathrooms are big. The apartment is a great size. The downside is that there are constantly bugs...roaches, silverfish, mosquitoes. I keep trying to get them to spray. When I first moved in they were really good about it but now they never come. My fridge has broken down at least twice. They came pretty quickly for that. My air stopped working twice..they were also prompt with that.

You must work for Northbridge. That place has been steadily getting worse over the years. It took me three months from time I moved in to get rid of all the roaches. After the incompetant pest control that they supplied couldn't do it, I had to spend hundreds of dollars to get it done myself. It was only after my neighbors left that the problem subsided..didn't go away though. And the walls are so thin, my neighbors threw parties almost every night. the police were called everytime. and when I complained you could see the distant looks on the leasing agents faces..and their constant apologies were so aggravating.."sorry your window leaks..sorry your phone line hasn't worked in over a month under our service..sorry your apartment had flea eggs in the carpet we didn't clean before you moved in...sorry we have drug dealers...sorry our security lets anyone in and there have been break ins" give me a break...

Here's a list of SOME of the benefits you get from living at Northbridge;
1. no parking space, if you arrive after a certain time at night, you will not find a parking space and be forced to park about a mile away.
2. lots, and i mean LOTS of bugs/insects; from cockroaches to silverfish, you will find anything here. No matter how many times they spray for it. (Northbridge is located next to a filthy lake, so you will never get rid of that.
3. you can hear the conversation of your neighbor right through the walls.
4. if something breaks, you pay for it, even if it's their fault.
5. you will live next to criminals and drug dealers, they do not care who you are, they will accept you to live there. Which gives all other residents the benefit of having parolees next-door.
6. daily college parties and gangster parties (drugs included).

This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. From the noise and the scary neighbors to the pointless security and incompetent staff that doesn't do anything when you have a problem--it's about as wonderful as being stabbed repeatedly. We've dealt with months of dog poop on the stair cases (because it's too hard to walk down a flight of stairs when you're constantly high), creatures growing out of the walls, a loud sports bar that's open 7 days a week until 2 am with obnoxious drunk people loitering until 4am (yay), neighbors downstairs that came to our door twice and threatened us when we made a noise complaint, and sleep deprivation because no one in this complex understands what having a job is. I'm am honestly surprised we didn't get shot, mugged, and/or hooked on heroin while we lived here. I wouldn't recommend this place to a homeless man.

We have been noting but dissatisfied with this complex. From the very beginning there were issues and miscommunication from the office staff. The cockroaches were disgusting and nasty! That is unacceptable. I have complained nearly every other day about issues not being resolved and have asked that the complex management contacts me and they have not. From things not working to the cockroaches I would not recommend this complex to anyone else. The staff seems nice, I will give them that.


I will agree with other posts, there is a lot of activity at night and I have noticed that the people are from complexes next door coming over to use our facilities.

I can't believe how nice the property looks but dont let it fool you. Northbridge is the worst place to live. The staff is suck up and rude. When I lived there I was told that they could replace me so I should move out rather than complain about the parties. Funny how the office tries to up hold their rules when they are the ones who break them. This place is a ---- hole that should lower their prices and realize that they are not luxury apartments because they dont keep them up and they allow riff raff throughout the property.

oh, and they don't discriminate. When there aren't roaches, the apartment is crawling with silverfish. Management claims that the apartments are sprayed, but those claims don't mean much when you find roaches in your dishes in the cabinets. I'm also still amazed at how one apartment building can house so many unemployed residents. I can only imagine that they're unemployed because they party until all hours of the night, blasting music and yelling until 3:00 and 4:00 in the morning. This is truly one of the nastiest apartments that we have lived in, and yet this is supposed to be "professional living". My question is, professional what''' Granted, we haven't been approached by prostitutes or drug dealers yet, but Im' sure that the time is near. But then again, even prostitutes and drug dealers have standards, right'

Rent has been lowered for new tenants, but those of us that are already tenants have to pay the same amount as when we moved in. When I asked why we couldn't have our rent lowered, I was told I didn't qualify as I already lived here. Already found a new place in a great section of town where the management is better and the apartments are only a year old.

I loved the fitness center and lake to jog around but everything else pretty much sucked by the time I made my decision to leave (and I don't regret it 1 bit). And whatever you do, GET COPIES OF ALL PAPERWORK you turn in. They WILL screw you on that if you give them the chance (I found if I gave them the chance to be incompetent, they always managed to do so). They tried to screw me out of my deposit and charge me an extra $1200 because they lost my Notice To Vacate paperwork, which I'm still fighting with them about. All being said and done, I DEFINITELY regret having moved there and unless you're low income you probably will too.

Oh, the good old saying "don't judge a book by its cover" has never been so appropriate. Northbridge may look good on the outside, but please don't be fooled. We have probably the loudest neighbors in the universe who feel that it is completely necessary to blast their bass-filled music 24/7 (literally). Having to take sleep aids to fall asleep EVERY NIGHT or using earplugs tends to get extremely old. Loud parties on WEEKDAYS tend to get old as well. Not to mention if you do end up calling security or the police, they don't actually EVER do anything, let alone give you a courtesy call back. Dreading coming to your apartment every night isn't something you should have to do when you're paying almost $1200 a month.

I'm not sure what kind of "background check" they do for the tenants here, but apparently that's just something that looks good in writing. Not to mention the fact that there's a "sports bar" that stays open until 2 AM 7 DAYS A WEEK that blasts music as well. I mean, I definitely signed up to live in a night club, right' Apparently. Furthermore, feel free to vent to the staff because that's all you'll be doing. Venting. Wouldn't recommend this complex to my worst enemy. I don't think that I could honestly give this apartment complex one compliment. Good luck!

Looks like they never sleep. What do you expect, they do not work. My health is going bad since I moved here, lack of sleep and always in stress, just because of neighbors, that even do not care about you or your sleep. I agree with you, that I will never recommend this complex to nobody.

I am still living in this complex, but I am about to loose my head. Do not even know where to start. We moved in last September and the first night we could not sleep, because of ghetto neighbors playing stupid rap music and having all Pine Hills visiting them. And they are still playing, never ends.

We went to the office maybe 6 times about them, nothing has been done. How many times I was awake at 3:00am just because of them, office management do not care. People who has a jobs and working hard to pay bills, deserves to have a right to sleep and rest. And these section 8 people do not give a sh... about you, because they can sleep all day, no responsibility. This place is so dirty that roaches are keep coming from nasty neighbors.


I am so tired of this place and can not wait to get out. Oh forgot to mention abou’t drug labs. Even management knows about them, but all they care is about your $$$ ,not about your safety.
DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY, YOU WILL CRY. Too bad that I did not know, that this complex is for section 8 people,I would never even looked at them. STAY AWAY FROM GHETTO!!!!!!!!!!

I have only lived here for 2 months and I am already HATING it!! My very first night I had to sleep in a hotel room for the following reasons:
-There was a hoard of cockroaches! my mom baked me a cake for my big move to FL from GA and I took the foil off of it after moving everything in and 5 roaches ran out of my cake!! Then, I found 3 more in my bathroom, and 2 more in the closet!!!! the complex claimed they didn't have the bug guy come because no one was living there, seriously''


-There was no hot water in my apartment.
-My dishwasher wasn't working, the motor was "stuck".
-The towel bar fell off the wall!!
-There was red (hopefully nail polish) stains all over the carpet.
-There is a huge crack in my bedroom door.
-There was no handle to turn my blinds.
And this was all the first day! They still haven't paid me back the $80 for the hotel that night.
Things that have happened since then:
-No one told me when I moved in that there was a day care in my building:
-screaming children every weekday outside my window
-a 9AM fire drill!!! that went off for 5 minutes through our building!!! supposedly they do this every month...
-Around 2 AM the other night my closet shelf fell off of the wall!! all my clothes have been sitting on the floor in my living room because it has taken them a week to get out here and put it back up!
-Now my clothes are going to be gross because they did not clean the carpets before i moved in so you can walk around for about 20 minutes and your feet will be black! I'm not paying to clean it, I've put enough money into this POS.
Also, I'm paying an extra $80 a month for standard cable! I tried to get direct tv and the complex would allow them to put the dish up....
Not to mention the "gangs" that hang out in the parking lot, they claim to have cameras for security but I've never been able to find one.
I can not wait to get out of this horrible place!!! only 10 more months... :/

let me start by saying this i was there for 5 yrs yes.... because of certain situations i could not leave job income so on.....i am not low income i paid full rent here...i’m doing this here because i don’t know where else to put information to keep peps out of there....so here we go..
when we moved in we thought it was the best place ever! everything you could want location, gym, bar food stores everything! we moved in right away. once we moved in the office/complex, staff paid us no attention....
here is examples:


1.we would get late notices and eviction notices on the door and our rent was current!5-6 calls later nobody calls you back your in the office waiting to be helped


2.apts we rent cleaned before we got there and they were going to send some to carpet clean never happened.


3. the landscaping falling down, died left in roadways or on property not moved for weeks at a time


4.security guards: they do nothing you are supposed to show your id so they can look you up nope let you right in if you don’t have your gate key (i spoke to security manager and he told me this i explained its not happening he obviously did nothing because it happened till the day i left with moving trucks)


5.SAVE EVERYTHING THE OFFICE GIVES YOU ON YOUR DOOR. WATER BILLS(PAID THROUGH APT COMPLEXE).AND IF THEY PROMISE OVER THE PHONE GO UP AND WAIT FOR THE GIRLS IN THE OFFICE TO STOP GOSSIPING AND GET IT IN WRITTING.


6. there was a situation in the back of the complex we called our property security they NEVER SHOWED we had to call the police when police show then ours showed after the cops came fliying through the development


7. you call on property security don’t plan on seeing them best part is you leave your number for them to call back and THEY DONT EVEN CALL BACK.

8.they had 3 move out dates for me because paper work was all wrong


9. my security deposit was listed "$200.00 (on their copy") what i paid on my original lease was $700 (LIKE I SAID I SAVED MY COPIES THANK GOD!)
10.the walls are paper thin if you want no notice live on the 3rd floor...but know if you neighbor below you vaccumes or plays music even surround sound you will know what they are doing


.they only had the original copy of my lease from 2005 NO OTHER COPY (LUCKY IN % YRS I LEARNED TO ASK FOR COPIES AND SAVE THINGS)


all i can say is what you see in your walk through and preview is NOT what you get... think really hard because a lot of people leave a lot of questions... had i not saved $$ like i did i would have still been living there and still telling people not to move in and not deal with the office. If you should decide to move in i hope you have a copy machine that you own and have the time to deal with the office....

1) I was also threatened with eviction due to not turning in my 'renewed' LIHTC (Low Income) certification of which I have never been, I paid full price like you.


2) I was told the carpets were CHANGED, not cleaned which was a lie.


3) Never saw this myself, landscaping was usually decent around my building at least.


4) I HATED this when I was there. They flat out REFUSED to do their jobs and management won't do anything to change it because the guards they have are cheap so they won't force them to do their job properly.

6) I had the same problem. I called, left my name and number, waited an HOUR and no one showed. Eventually I handled it myself and woke up my building and the one next to me to do so and when I reported it to management when they opened the office they did nothing and didn't even know who would be responsible for responding.

8) They 'lost' my intent to move paperwork and tried charging me $1200 for an extra month's rent because of it. I had to fight them and work with the management company to get it resolved since on site management didn't want to bother responding to my repeated requests to discuss the matter.

10) Agreed. Construction quality was garbage despite the model looking really nice.


I am so happy I left this place. I'm a few minutes away and MUCH happier now (even after living in my new place for over 7 months). NorthBridge = EPIC FAIL!

I've lived here for three months now and it's been a nightmare! The office staff is inept, the property manager is a liar, and maintenance is run by the three stooges. And don't even get me started about the accounting dept. For the prices they charge I could be paying a mortgage on a comfortable three bedroom home so to expect service and efficiency isn't unreasonable. As a friend says though, "it's nice to have dreams!" Don't be fooled by appearances, the property may be pretty and look good, but the Titanic was beautiful and we all know how that ended.

Agreed. I started with such a high opinion of this place when I moved in but after a few months I realized just how bad it was and how accurate all of these negative reviews were. I left this place behind in June '09 and am SOOOO glad I did.

Do not move here. Please listen when I say that you will not only get a crappy apartment, with lousy office staff and horrible maintenance - but that you will be living in an extremely crime infested location.


Hear what you think is fireworks' Probably not. Those are gunshots. Your car will be broken into if not stolen or vandalized. You had better have some kind of alarm on your door because the locks provided wouldn't keep a 1st grader out. Those guys standing around the complex - well according to local police and sheriff - they are drug dealers and the complex is overloaded with them.
The appliances are the only thing good about this place, they never paint or replace carpet (although they will try to say they do.) Everything is surface look - not real value or quality.
The pool area continually has drug dealers smoking and dealing and the so-called gym has other thugs playing there that don't even live here .

I cannot stress enough the importance of staying away from this complex. I would have moved sooner but the young people in the office will stick you so bad that they'll make it impossible to get another apartment if you break you lease, not knowing that you're looking out for the well-being of yourself.

The office staff couldn't get the lease written properly. I had to sit and explain it to the manager over and over until they finally understood what the problem was. They kept trying to blame me.
Maintence is non-existant! 3 weeks w/o AC in the middle of the summer!!!!
Everyone has a dog, most of them bark.
Walls are paper thin.
There are much, much better deals out there.

Correction: Maintenance are existent only when they STEALING. They are THEIVES!!! They stole my laptop then the day after tried to leave a note on the door claiming we put in a maintenance request which was completely and entirely falsified and that they were unable to enter our apartment because they did not have a key. LIARS and THEIVES!!! Then the office staff tried to alter our move out date to two months ealier than the lease was signed for. If not for having an original copy of the lease and contacting a lawyer they would have forced us to move out two months early. CROOKS! Beware.

I moved in here in April or 09 and since then it's been nothing but hell! First the agents give you a run around about when you can move in and aren't concerned about your needs.. Northbridge is always talking about being so upscale and what not but, the apartments aren't upscale at all nothing is up graded as far as the fridge it's soo tiny, stove is a coil, washer and dryer are standard not to mention you pay an extra 40 bucks for, the bathroom is your basic bathroom and im paying 1100 for a 1/1 oh and the pearla pool parties really suck every sunday its loud techno music with --- ------ bags and sluts walking around drunk and messed up on drugs. I live by the pool so I hear it for a whole 8 hours. The market place is ghetto and so is the sub way! Northbridge looses all your paper work but, will blame you for it and charge you late fees. Dont do it and sign here!!!

I couldn't agree more. It seems like management just doesn't get it. They don't understand why everyone thinks they suck. They have no clue how to manage this place properly nor are they capable of catering to the higher class clientele they try to claim they cater to. Its over-priced ghetto nonsense. You'd think with all of us providing clear, consistent feedback as to maintenance, the pool parties, paperwork management, being over-priced for what is offered, and security guards all sucking and being miserable failures at their duties would tell them exactly what to fix to turn things around, but they won't. They just don't get it. It's amazing. They think they're doing a great job at an awesome complex with superb staff. No wonder all of us that could afford this place have run away and they've had to change more and more of them over to low income rentals instead. I have no idea what more could be done to get these guys to wake up, lose the ego, and do something to fix this place and turn it around.

I wish the staff would be upfront with prospective clients to advise them that they rent out to section 8 housing. I wouldn't of rented here if that was the case.

Why build such a fancy so-called "luxury" apartment complex if your going to take anything with a pulse. The website is designed to cater to high to mid level professionals, but any normal person wouldn't dare go out at night with all the street trash roaming the area. Cars in and out of the complex throughout the night blaring their boom boxes while people are trying to sleep.

The shops are down right scary!

Doesn't the management CARE about how their complex is being represented' Have they EVER walked out of their fancy leasing office and saw the condition of their property' Cigarette buts, garbage, cobwebs all over the staircases and the parking lot. Maintenance is non-existance. The fitness center is overrun in the evening by street youths sneaking in the play basketball. I guess the guy who "oversees" the area just turns a blind eye. Can't even sit and relax by the pool without tons of kids smoking and swearing around you. Again, NO security. Forget the business center. Once I needed to print out a document when my computer broke and I couldn't even get on it due to tons of kids using it as their playhouse.

So exactly why I'm I paying all this money for "services" I can't even use while all these section 8 people can stay here for half the money and destroy the place and management just looks the other way'.

My first neighbor I had to get a restraining order on, go to Domestic Violence court, buy $1000 worth of surveillance cameras, because the men she rents these apts. to are abusive , demented alcoholics whom do not work are defrauding the welfare offices of the U.S. government. They are on section 8 & food stamps. But they chain smoke and booze it up with all the neighbors every night until 2.am. My newest murdock circle menace exposed himself, and urinated in public , he gets so drunk that he actually hooks up with heroin addicts and prostitutes that the manager rents apts to. I cannot stand the loud noise, the hillbillies sit out on the front step, which by t he way is prohibited in the resident handbook. I have called about Larry for two months now and this menace is still keeping me from sleeping until If the FL DEA and the FBI need emloyment dont apply< just move to Murdock Circle Apts in Port Charllotte FL>

Beware....

Unfortunately, all I can say is that there are individuals in the company that are truly wonderful people, and are as nice as they can be. There are others, though, that are majorly going to get theirs when they stand before God at the end of things. They put my son and I out of our apartment right before Christmas, and apparently did so to other families, too. How disgusting. Regardless of what the reasons were leading up to that point, putting people out of their homes for Christmas is the lowest of the low.
They will also lure you in with a lower rent, then when you're there, signing leases, they will hit you with the rest of the costs, which drive your rent up over $100.00 more a month. They will tell you they have rent programs for 'low' income, but when you do the numbers you won't qualify, no matter how little you make.

why ???

I moved in to the Concord family last May 2008 happy and looking forward to my new home. I have been having a water problen since then asking for help! sos! please! and no help no water company to check I'm being charged $ 185.00 a month for water in a two bedroom appt...Have been told by employees and neighbors that this problem has been going on befor I moved in and since then for a year now with no help ...so this I ask where is my help PLEASE HELP !!!! The girls here are nice but are not able to help me and they have so much to do ...I feel we can not get to this is a real shame...My Friend @ the local newspaper thinks I should whrite a letter to the Paper and maybe then will get some help!! well I am so stressed about this it is making me sick so many things going on here ?? I just don't get it ?? Broken ,etc HELP!!!!!

Poor customer service

I moved out of the Summer Cove Apartments (St. Cloud) in early July. I am still waiting for my deposit refund. I placed one call to customer service a few days before Labor Day. The voice mail said I would be called back within 24 hours..didn't happen. I tried twice again on Wednesday the 8th; the voice mail said all calls would be returned on Wednesday..they weren't. I tried again this morning and got the same voice mail that the rep would be out of the office until Wednesday the 8th and to "Have a happy holiday weekend! I'm at my wit's end; I could really use the $400 plus that I was told would be returned to me. I am about ready to camp out on their doorstep so that I can talk to a real live person instead of a voice mail.

The Club at Spring Valley

I would NEVER reccomend this company to rent from. I live in fear everyday, watching drug deals,car jackings,shootings etc. We are told we have security, but it's obvious they are non existent and the neighborhood watch lasted long enough to get the signs put up. No kids club, no one watching the pool. I refuse to use the pool due to rowdy and obnoxious residents. Maitnenance is a joke, work orders don't get filled, or it's a sloppy job. Carpets are never cleaned, dryer vents remain full...good fire hazard. Ask me if I would recommend The club at Spring Valley, my answer is a very definent NO!!. Be VERY CAREFUL when looking into this complex, because all too soon you will find your in the ghetto of Miamisburg.

Orlando police on Thursday released a sketch of a man they say shot two people, killing one, at an apartment near Mall at Millenia. The suspect shot to death Martin Martinez, 28, and wounded his girlfriend at NorthBridge on Millenia Lake on Jan. 17.

The shootings happened during what police described as a home-invasion robbery at a unit on Estabrook Woods Drive. A second suspect waited in a getaway car, officers said.

The gunman was described as a dark-skinned black man in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5-feet-10-inches tall with a mustache. He wore a dark bubble jacket, navy blue skullcap and Timberland boots. The car was white.

ORLANDO, Fla. —A killer is on the run after shooting a man and a woman inside a Northbridge Apartments home in Orlando on Thursday.

Martin Martinez died of his injuries. The woman was rushed from the scene on Millenia Boulevard to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Neighbors said multiple recent shootings in the area have left them fed up. They say the violence must stop. "This is continuous. It's not shocking at all. It's very sad and horrible," neighbor Jessica Martinez said.

Alvaro Ferry said he wants to know why someone would want to kill his little brother. "He was at home. He wasn't looking for trouble. You're supposed to be safe in your own home, in your own bedroom, and that wasn't the case in this incident," Ferry said.

The complex hired a private security firm to help quell the violence. Despite the deterrent, another deadly shooting took place here. Security guards spent their time helping police seal off the area to residents trying to go home. The culprit was nowhere to be found. "It appears that both people were shot by someone else. We don't have any suspect information at this time," Sgt. Jim Young said.

ORLANDO, Fla. —Investigators said the woman who was shot was Martinez's girlfriend. They said Martinez was staying at the apartment after being laid off from his job at the Port of Miami. Much of his family lives in South Florida.

Orlando police late Friday confirmed what the family of Martin Martinez had dreaded for a day: The Miami man was the person shot to death in an apartment near the Mall at Millenia.

A woman identified by Martinez's family as his girlfriend also was shot but survived and was hospitalized. Police did not release her identity.

Martinez's brother, Orlando Astacio, said he wants detectives to investigate thoroughly. They had made no arrests early Saturday and did not disclose a possible motive.

"I want justice to be done," Astacio said from Nicaragua, where Martinez's family plans to bury him in their homeland.
Martinez, 28, known to friends and family as "Energy," had been staying temporarily with roommates at NorthBridge on Millenia Lake apartments after being laid off from his job loading containers at PortMiami, relatives said. Another brother lives nearby.

"Martin had no problem with nobody because he lived there for a month," Astacio said.  Another man was fatally shot in late December at The Villages on Millenia, a complex next door. Two men have been arrested on murder and other charges.

This is an HONEST review written by me, a resident who has lived in Northbridge Apartments near Millenia Mall for 2 years. Moved out in March of 2013 - had enough! I first moved straight to these Apts. from Boston, MA due to a job management promotion/relocation. I am a very reasonable, educated, hard working professional. In all honesty, moving to Northbridge was clearly a mistake.

The place is definitely overpriced for what they offer:

1. Swimming pool is always full of noisy Sect. 8 kids?/often without parental supervision. I wouldn't dare to swim there. Can imagine it's pretty dirty.
2. Gym has a nasty smell to it and is also full of parents and their small children (4-5 kids per family -the usual-).

3. Small children are running around the complex, again, without parental supervision and creating noise all over the place. EX: One time I saw a child trying to escape from his 2nd flood balcony. I wonder where the parents were...(This pretty much should explain what kind of people live here).

4. Parking - space is very limited (first come first serve basis). EX: If you are a resident, on a full night, unfortunately, you are not guaranteed a spot. So, good luck.
5. Broken glass and bottles on the parking lot laying out there for days without being cleaned up. Notice: the management acts as if they do not notice it.

6. SECURITY - BIG ISSUE. It is as if there is no security, but you do pay for it anyway. Believe it or not. I am guessing for the look of "the gates" themselves. One door is open (the one closer to the lake to be precise), so anyone can come in and out at any time. That is exactly how criminals can get in. Still to this day, it is not fixed, believe me, a friend still lives there. In January of this year, there was a burglary followed by a shooting right next to my building. The whole thing was on the news. News were conducting interviews of the residents, honest like me, and as soon as the Apt Complex found that out, they immediately kicked out the news channel off of the property. Truth hurts, ain't it?

Guess what? This was not the first crime incident these apts have had. It took the apartment complex a few good crime scenes (i'm talking about 20 deputies on the scene with about 5-7 emergency vehicles) yellow tape all over the building...to change the Security guidelines. And up until this day, there are no set rules. People can still get in and out, if they really want to. Currently, you can still get in the complex, just enter the gate code, if a person you're visiting doesn't answer, just show your ID to the officer, and he'll let you in. Office has asked everyone to provide new information, which they did not communicate to the security. Its a mess, like I said. So ANYONE CAN GET IT, if they are smart enough and are out there to get what they need.

Now, I constantly had different kind of strangers knocking at my doors. Where these people come from? No idea. But it tells you the kind of environment you live in. The management/staff consists of stuck up females who most likely only have their GED/ luckily a High School Diploma, very luckily few classes at ITT tech. Plainly speaking, they are uneducated, uninformed employees who are most likely overworked by everything that is going on at that place.

7. Who are they kidding? Sect. 8 still exists and do not believe if they are telling you otherwise. Trust me, when you walk in there with proof that you are Sect. 8 candidate, they immediately find you a place to live. Want to know the rates? (1 bedroom for $600 or 2 bedrooms for around $700). Not bad, huh? While you're out here paying twice as much. Unequal standards. It isn't fair, because when your neighbors are out here getting food stamps, wearing t-shirts with holes in them, and you're out here driving a Rovers and BMW's, it all results that your neighbors are giving you dirty looks and looking at you with hatred. Why put middle and lower class both in the same building? I just don't see any sense in it. But guess who's paying for their food stamps? Me! That's right, the hardworking tax payers.

8. At least 2-3 move outs each month in the building. Cops are constantly visiting the neighbor's apartments for issues and problems. You see few police vehicle at least few times per week. Neighbors are loud. They keep moving their furniture in and out of the building. It's completely insane.

9. Maintenance: sometimes you call in, and no one will be there to help you for days. And actually, as I was getting closer to my move out date: i made a call and no one decided to come in at all.

10. Their complex lake is verydirty.

11. Pets poop all over the apt complex.
......There is too much to tell, but main highlights are here..
Take it from me - think twice before moving in.

Well I wish them luck in trying to rent some of the properties that are above the retail places at full price. Only a fool would pay them. I hope you're talking about the bar because the other place was forced to close for a bit due to a bunch of health code violations not too long after it opened. I heard that there was a shooting in the building where the store is not too long ago. Convenient? Yes. Worth the price even at low income prices? Not by a long shot.

I understand ur pain. I lived the horror myself. I paid over 3,000$ to get out of my (prison)/contract. it was worth EVERY PENNY!! Lesson Learned. This place is efff'd up. From move-in day to move-out day, nothing but disrespect, lies, theft, stress and a lot of headaches! The office staff is a group of individuals that appear to be on day one of their first job.. everyday. They know nothing, send you in circles.. management at least speaks some English.


They will not answer your questions and charge you for the most random things ever. Don't EVER let maintenance go in your unit without you home. Everyone I know there including myself was robbed by them. The security is awful and all the residents from the apartments beside this place (government aided) people hangout at Northbridge for no reason except to cause trouble. Northbridge wont tell you that they are mixed with section whatever so you can be paying $1000 a month and your neighbor pays $350 a month. Dont do it!

When I decided to move in to this community I was very excited and impress with all the amenities the property had to offer, on that first day I was offered a second floor 1 bedroom unit with a beautifull lake view, my main concern was the noise coming from the apartmet above, the leasing agent told me not to worry since an old lady lived upstairs by herself.



After a few days I notice how bad the construction was and how bad the noises were and how horrible is to find a parking space at night.That's when my problem started but I decided to take care of the situation myself. To my surprise I notice that we don't have an old lady upstairs but 3 people living in a 1 bedroom apt.


Now I'm living in a horrible situation with loud noises after 10pm everyday, people banging on my door, and with a management office that don't care. Too sad at this point after the fith attemp to have management or the property manager do something about it, my situation haven't change and it's even getting worst, it's unbelievable that I'm paying for a 1 bedroom what I can pay for a house.Living in an UPSCALE community with no parkings available and I can't even sleep or watch tv without having to listen to the constant banging!!!

I'm very frustrated with this community. I'm one of the income-based tenants. I fell on hard times and needed a place to live. I found this place and knew that it wouldn't be fantastic but it's so much worse than that. I live above the bar, something that I didn't know was going to happen until AFTER I signed the lease. I was pregnant at the time. I was on a wait list and an apartment came up for me. That's all I knew.

I do take some of the blame because I should have found out which apartment it was before I signed the lease. Why would they put a pregnant woman above a bar' I can't sleep through the night due to the floor and my bed vibrating from bass. There's constantly noise outside from bar patrons. They are out there until all hours. They play -------- outside at least twice a week and believe me it's loud. They yell and rev motorcycles. The lady that owns the bar is really nice but they should've never put a bar in a mixed-use community.

I have a huge balcony but can't use it due to people always smoking outside. They smoke in the stairwells and the halls smell like smoke. I've had people smoking weed in the stairwells. I told them to stop. I haven't seen them recently. I've tried talking to the front office about all of this...they could care less. Apparently I make too much money to move to another apartment. How frustrating...

Many of the people who live here are disgusting and filthy. They throw their garbage wherever they are and allow their dogs to crap on sidewalks. They don't clean up after their pets. Management does not enforce breed restrictions. There are pitbulls in the neighborhood and I know of one that the owners walk it without a leash.

Parking is hard to come by AND people drive through here at insane speeds. I hear accidents outside at least once a week.

The apartment layout is nice. The bathrooms are big. The apartment is a great size. The downside is that there are constantly bugs...roaches, silverfish, mosquitoes. I keep trying to get them to spray. When I first moved in they were really good about it but now they never come. My fridge has broken down at least twice. They came pretty quickly for that. My air stopped working twice..they were also prompt with that.

You must work for Northbridge. That place has been steadily getting worse over the years. It took me three months from time I moved in to get rid of all the roaches. After the incompetant pest control that they supplied couldn't do it, I had to spend hundreds of dollars to get it done myself. It was only after my neighbors left that the problem subsided..didn't go away though. And the walls are so thin, my neighbors threw parties almost every night. the police were called everytime. and when I complained you could see the distant looks on the leasing agents faces..and their constant apologies were so aggravating.."sorry your window leaks..sorry your phone line hasn't worked in over a month under our service..sorry your apartment had flea eggs in the carpet we didn't clean before you moved in...sorry we have drug dealers...sorry our security lets anyone in and there have been break ins" give me a break...

Here's a list of SOME of the benefits you get from living at Northbridge;
1. no parking space, if you arrive after a certain time at night, you will not find a parking space and be forced to park about a mile away.
2. lots, and i mean LOTS of bugs/insects; from cockroaches to silverfish, you will find anything here. No matter how many times they spray for it. (Northbridge is located next to a filthy lake, so you will never get rid of that.
3. you can hear the conversation of your neighbor right through the walls.
4. if something breaks, you pay for it, even if it's their fault.
5. you will live next to criminals and drug dealers, they do not care who you are, they will accept you to live there. Which gives all other residents the benefit of having parolees next-door.
6. daily college parties and gangster parties (drugs included).

This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. From the noise and the scary neighbors to the pointless security and incompetent staff that doesn't do anything when you have a problem--it's about as wonderful as being stabbed repeatedly. We've dealt with months of dog poop on the stair cases (because it's too hard to walk down a flight of stairs when you're constantly high), creatures growing out of the walls, a loud sports bar that's open 7 days a week until 2 am with obnoxious drunk people loitering until 4am (yay), neighbors downstairs that came to our door twice and threatened us when we made a noise complaint, and sleep deprivation because no one in this complex understands what having a job is. I'm am honestly surprised we didn't get shot, mugged, and/or hooked on heroin while we lived here. I wouldn't recommend this place to a homeless man.

We have been noting but dissatisfied with this complex. From the very beginning there were issues and miscommunication from the office staff. The cockroaches were disgusting and nasty! That is unacceptable. I have complained nearly every other day about issues not being resolved and have asked that the complex management contacts me and they have not. From things not working to the cockroaches I would not recommend this complex to anyone else. The staff seems nice, I will give them that.


I will agree with other posts, there is a lot of activity at night and I have noticed that the people are from complexes next door coming over to use our facilities.

I can't believe how nice the property looks but dont let it fool you. Northbridge is the worst place to live. The staff is suck up and rude. When I lived there I was told that they could replace me so I should move out rather than complain about the parties. Funny how the office tries to up hold their rules when they are the ones who break them. This place is a ---- hole that should lower their prices and realize that they are not luxury apartments because they dont keep them up and they allow riff raff throughout the property.

oh, and they don't discriminate. When there aren't roaches, the apartment is crawling with silverfish. Management claims that the apartments are sprayed, but those claims don't mean much when you find roaches in your dishes in the cabinets. I'm also still amazed at how one apartment building can house so many unemployed residents. I can only imagine that they're unemployed because they party until all hours of the night, blasting music and yelling until 3:00 and 4:00 in the morning. This is truly one of the nastiest apartments that we have lived in, and yet this is supposed to be "professional living". My question is, professional what''' Granted, we haven't been approached by prostitutes or drug dealers yet, but Im' sure that the time is near. But then again, even prostitutes and drug dealers have standards, right'

Rent has been lowered for new tenants, but those of us that are already tenants have to pay the same amount as when we moved in. When I asked why we couldn't have our rent lowered, I was told I didn't qualify as I already lived here. Already found a new place in a great section of town where the management is better and the apartments are only a year old.

I now live in a nicer 2/2 with better lighting, stainless appliances, a view of downtown and no ghetto for the same price as I was renting a 1/1 for in Northbridge.

I loved the fitness center and lake to jog around but everything else pretty much sucked by the time I made my decision to leave (and I don't regret it 1 bit). And whatever you do, GET COPIES OF ALL PAPERWORK you turn in. They WILL screw you on that if you give them the chance (I found if I gave them the chance to be incompetent, they always managed to do so). They tried to screw me out of my deposit and charge me an extra $1200 because they lost my Notice To Vacate paperwork, which I'm still fighting with them about. All being said and done, I DEFINITELY regret having moved there and unless you're low income you probably will too.

Oh, the good old saying "don't judge a book by its cover" has never been so appropriate. Northbridge may look good on the outside, but please don't be fooled. We have probably the loudest neighbors in the universe who feel that it is completely necessary to blast their bass-filled music 24/7 (literally). Having to take sleep aids to fall asleep EVERY NIGHT or using earplugs tends to get extremely old. Loud parties on WEEKDAYS tend to get old as well. Not to mention if you do end up calling security or the police, they don't actually EVER do anything, let alone give you a courtesy call back. Dreading coming to your apartment every night isn't something you should have to do when you're paying almost $1200 a month.

I'm not sure what kind of "background check" they do for the tenants here, but apparently that's just something that looks good in writing. Not to mention the fact that there's a "sports bar" that stays open until 2 AM 7 DAYS A WEEK that blasts music as well. I mean, I definitely signed up to live in a night club, right' Apparently. Furthermore, feel free to vent to the staff because that's all you'll be doing. Venting. Wouldn't recommend this complex to my worst enemy. I don't think that I could honestly give this apartment complex one compliment. Good luck!

Looks like they never sleep. What do you expect, they do not work. My health is going bad since I moved here, lack of sleep and always in stress, just because of neighbors, that even do not care about you or your sleep. I agree with you, that I will never recommend this complex to nobody.

I am still living in this complex, but I am about to loose my head. Do not even know where to start. We moved in last September and the first night we could not sleep, because of ghetto neighbors playing stupid rap music and having all Pine Hills visiting them. And they are still playing, never ends.

We went to the office maybe 6 times about them, nothing has been done. How many times I was awake at 3:00am just because of them, office management do not care. People who has a jobs and working hard to pay bills, deserves to have a right to sleep and rest. And these section 8 people do not give a sh... about you, because they can sleep all day, no responsibility. This place is so dirty that roaches are keep coming from nasty neighbors.


I am so tired of this place and can not wait to get out. Oh forgot to mention abou’t drug labs. Even management knows about them, but all they care is about your $$$ ,not about your safety.
DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY, YOU WILL CRY. Too bad that I did not know, that this complex is for section 8 people,I would never even looked at them. STAY AWAY FROM GHETTO!!!!!!!!!!

I have only lived here for 2 months and I am already HATING it!! My very first night I had to sleep in a hotel room for the following reasons:
-There was a hoard of cockroaches! my mom baked me a cake for my big move to FL from GA and I took the foil off of it after moving everything in and 5 roaches ran out of my cake!! Then, I found 3 more in my bathroom, and 2 more in the closet!!!! the complex claimed they didn't have the bug guy come because no one was living there, seriously''


-There was no hot water in my apartment.
-My dishwasher wasn't working, the motor was "stuck".
-The towel bar fell off the wall!!
-There was red (hopefully nail polish) stains all over the carpet.
-There is a huge crack in my bedroom door.
-There was no handle to turn my blinds.
And this was all the first day! They still haven't paid me back the $80 for the hotel that night.
Things that have happened since then:
-No one told me when I moved in that there was a day care in my building:
-screaming children every weekday outside my window
-a 9AM fire drill!!! that went off for 5 minutes through our building!!! supposedly they do this every month...
-Around 2 AM the other night my closet shelf fell off of the wall!! all my clothes have been sitting on the floor in my living room because it has taken them a week to get out here and put it back up!
-Now my clothes are going to be gross because they did not clean the carpets before i moved in so you can walk around for about 20 minutes and your feet will be black! I'm not paying to clean it, I've put enough money into this POS.
Also, I'm paying an extra $80 a month for standard cable! I tried to get direct tv and the complex would allow them to put the dish up....
Not to mention the "gangs" that hang out in the parking lot, they claim to have cameras for security but I've never been able to find one.
I can not wait to get out of this horrible place!!! only 10 more months... :/

let me start by saying this i was there for 5 yrs yes.... because of certain situations i could not leave job income so on.....i am not low income i paid full rent here...i’m doing this here because i don’t know where else to put information to keep peps out of there....so here we go..
when we moved in we thought it was the best place ever! everything you could want location, gym, bar food stores everything! we moved in right away. once we moved in the office/complex, staff paid us no attention....
here is examples:


1.we would get late notices and eviction notices on the door and our rent was current!5-6 calls later nobody calls you back your in the office waiting to be helped


2.apts we rent cleaned before we got there and they were going to send some to carpet clean never happened.


3. the landscaping falling down, died left in roadways or on property not moved for weeks at a time


4.security guards: they do nothing you are supposed to show your id so they can look you up nope let you right in if you don’t have your gate key (i spoke to security manager and he told me this i explained its not happening he obviously did nothing because it happened till the day i left with moving trucks)


5.SAVE EVERYTHING THE OFFICE GIVES YOU ON YOUR DOOR. WATER BILLS(PAID THROUGH APT COMPLEXE).AND IF THEY PROMISE OVER THE PHONE GO UP AND WAIT FOR THE GIRLS IN THE OFFICE TO STOP GOSSIPING AND GET IT IN WRITTING.


6. there was a situation in the back of the complex we called our property security they NEVER SHOWED we had to call the police when police show then ours showed after the cops came fliying through the development


7. you call on property security don’t plan on seeing them best part is you leave your number for them to call back and THEY DONT EVEN CALL BACK.


i could go on and on... reply to this and ill answer


8.they had 3 move out dates for me because paper work was all wrong


9. my security deposit was listed "$200.00 (on their copy") what i paid on my original lease was $700 (LIKE I SAID I SAVED MY COPIES THANK GOD!)
10.the walls are paper thin if you want no notice live on the 3rd floor...but know if you neighbor below you vaccumes or plays music even surround sound you will know what they are doing


.they only had the original copy of my lease from 2005 NO OTHER COPY (LUCKY IN % YRS I LEARNED TO ASK FOR COPIES AND SAVE THINGS)


all i can say is what you see in your walk through and preview is NOT what you get... think really hard because a lot of people leave a lot of questions... had i not saved $$ like i did i would have still been living there and still telling people not to move in and not deal with the office. If you should decide to move in i hope you have a copy machine that you own and have the time to deal with the office....

1) I was also threatened with eviction due to not turning in my 'renewed' LIHTC (Low Income) certification of which I have never been, I paid full price like you.


2) I was told the carpets were CHANGED, not cleaned which was a lie.


3) Never saw this myself, landscaping was usually decent around my building at least.


4) I HATED this when I was there. They flat out REFUSED to do their jobs and management won't do anything to change it because the guards they have are cheap so they won't force them to do their job properly.

6) I had the same problem. I called, left my name and number, waited an HOUR and no one showed. Eventually I handled it myself and woke up my building and the one next to me to do so and when I reported it to management when they opened the office they did nothing and didn't even know who would be responsible for responding.

8) They 'lost' my intent to move paperwork and tried charging me $1200 for an extra month's rent because of it. I had to fight them and work with the management company to get it resolved since on site management didn't want to bother responding to my repeated requests to discuss the matter.

10) Agreed. Construction quality was garbage despite the model looking really nice.


I am so happy I left this place. I'm a few minutes away and MUCH happier now (even after living in my new place for over 7 months). NorthBridge = EPIC FAIL!

I've lived here for three months now and it's been a nightmare! The office staff is inept, the property manager is a liar, and maintenance is run by the three stooges. And don't even get me started about the accounting dept. For the prices they charge I could be paying a mortgage on a comfortable three bedroom home so to expect service and efficiency isn't unreasonable. As a friend says though, "it's nice to have dreams!" Don't be fooled by appearances, the property may be pretty and look good, but the Titanic was beautiful and we all know how that ended.

Agreed. I started with such a high opinion of this place when I moved in but after a few months I realized just how bad it was and how accurate all of these negative reviews were. I left this place behind in June '09 and am SOOOO glad I did.

Do not move here. Please listen when I say that you will not only get a crappy apartment, with lousy office staff and horrible maintenance - but that you will be living in an extremely crime infested location.


Hear what you think is fireworks' Probably not. Those are gunshots. Your car will be broken into if not stolen or vandalized. You had better have some kind of alarm on your door because the locks provided wouldn't keep a 1st grader out. Those guys standing around the complex - well according to local police and sheriff - they are drug dealers and the complex is overloaded with them.
The appliances are the only thing good about this place, they never paint or replace carpet (although they will try to say they do.) Everything is surface look - not real value or quality.
The pool area continually has drug dealers smoking and dealing and the so-called gym has other thugs playing there that don't even live here .

I cannot stress enough the importance of staying away from this complex. I would have moved sooner but the young people in the office will stick you so bad that they'll make it impossible to get another apartment if you break you lease, not knowing that you're looking out for the well-being of yourself.

The office staff couldn't get the lease written properly. I had to sit and explain it to the manager over and over until they finally understood what the problem was. They kept trying to blame me.
Maintence is non-existant! 3 weeks w/o AC in the middle of the summer!!!!
Everyone has a dog, most of them bark.
Walls are paper thin.
There are much, much better deals out there.

Correction: Maintenance are existent only when they STEALING. They are THEIVES!!! They stole my laptop then the day after tried to leave a note on the door claiming we put in a maintenance request which was completely and entirely falsified and that they were unable to enter our apartment because they did not have a key. LIARS and THEIVES!!! Then the office staff tried to alter our move out date to two months ealier than the lease was signed for. If not for having an original copy of the lease and contacting a lawyer they would have forced us to move out two months early. CROOKS! Beware.

I moved in here in April or 09 and since then it's been nothing but hell! First the agents give you a run around about when you can move in and aren't concerned about your needs.. Northbridge is always talking about being so upscale and what not but, the apartments aren't upscale at all nothing is up graded as far as the fridge it's soo tiny, stove is a coil, washer and dryer are standard not to mention you pay an extra 40 bucks for, the bathroom is your basic bathroom and im paying 1100 for a 1/1 oh and the pearla pool parties really suck every sunday its loud techno music with --- ------ bags and sluts walking around drunk and messed up on drugs. I live by the pool so I hear it for a whole 8 hours. The market place is ghetto and so is the sub way! Northbridge looses all your paper work but, will blame you for it and charge you late fees. Dont do it and sign here!!!

I couldn't agree more. It seems like management just doesn't get it. They don't understand why everyone thinks they suck. They have no clue how to manage this place properly nor are they capable of catering to the higher class clientele they try to claim they cater to. Its over-priced ghetto nonsense. You'd think with all of us providing clear, consistent feedback as to maintenance, the pool parties, paperwork management, being over-priced for what is offered, and security guards all sucking and being miserable failures at their duties would tell them exactly what to fix to turn things around, but they won't. They just don't get it. It's amazing. They think they're doing a great job at an awesome complex with superb staff. No wonder all of us that could afford this place have run away and they've had to change more and more of them over to low income rentals instead. I have no idea what more could be done to get these guys to wake up, lose the ego, and do something to fix this place and turn it around.

I wish the staff would be upfront with prospective clients to advise them that they rent out to section 8 housing. I wouldn't of rented here if that was the case.

Why build such a fancy so-called "luxury" apartment complex if your going to take anything with a pulse. The website is designed to cater to high to mid level professionals, but any normal person wouldn't dare go out at night with all the street trash roaming the area. Cars in and out of the complex throughout the night blaring their boom boxes while people are trying to sleep.

The shops are down right scary!

Doesn't the management CARE about how their complex is being represented' Have they EVER walked out of their fancy leasing office and saw the condition of their property' Cigarette buts, garbage, cobwebs all over the staircases and the parking lot. Maintenance is non-existance. The fitness center is overrun in the evening by street youths sneaking in the play basketball. I guess the guy who "oversees" the area just turns a blind eye. Can't even sit and relax by the pool without tons of kids smoking and swearing around you. Again, NO security. Forget the business center. Once I needed to print out a document when my computer broke and I couldn't even get on it due to tons of kids using it as their playhouse.

So exactly why I'm I paying all this money for "services" I can't even use while all these section 8 people can stay here for half the money and destroy the place and management just looks the other way'.

I know the Fountains adjacent that was going to be condos are now selling as rentals and they are renting the 3/2 for $799 a month! This is owned by the same company as Northbridge. MORE section 8 housing. MORE crime,
... The company that doesn't care about you and just wants your $$$.

I guess they don't want professionals living in the area, I guess if I was a single welfare mother of 6 kids on crack, they would roll out the red carpet for me.

Rest assured ANY comment you see here that is positive, is done by the STAFF of NorthBridge (Ghetto Central). The place is a JOKE. In the 10 months I was there, you couldnt sleep (walls thin as paper), idiots coming and going all hours of the night with boom boxes blaring, motorcycles revving their motors, hoodlums sitting on the hood of my caddy, fire alarms going off at 3am, the list goes on and on. Most importantly, arrogant, worthless scumbags in the leasing office that promise you the sun and moon UNTIL you move in, then you become a moot point. AVOID NORTHBRIDGE AT ALL COSTS.

I have been here for three years and let me tell you this place is Gettho 101. Roaches, loud neighbours, and the really loud pool parties with techno music every Saturday. I've had to call the poilice several times due to noice. The front office is full of incompetence. Work orders get taken care of after calling them several times. I am glad I will be moving soon from this hell

WOW, do not make the mistake I made. Dont be fooled by the amenitites. My AC was broken for 7 months out of a 7 month lease..Maintenance came to my apartment over 15 times and couldnt get it right. The Staff is terrible and pass the buck, no one takes responsibility for anything.Once you sign the lease you are on your own.This place charges you over 1200.00 for rent yet they take section 8. Heed the warnings there is a reason all these people have given this place a terrible rating.The entire staff is either rude or incompetent or both. WOW !!! I am glad I am gone..

It's too much money for what it is..If you have a problem you need to call the office several times, the security people let anyone in, the manager is so rude and stupid just like everyone else there ( specially Morgan, i hate her ) There is not even one good thing about this shity complex.. You can't even use the ammenities cuz of the ppl from the villages.. they use our pools..It's disgusting! My roommate got robbed right in front of our door, when we asked to move to another unit they said we needed to renew the lease and pay another deposit.. Ridiculous!!! Don't even consider moving to this complex.. IT'S THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER LIVED IN MY LIFE

Came home at from CityWalk and there were 20 thug kids running around the parking lot (gated community & security yeah right)......these thugs could not have been 15 or so probably vandalizing cars.....where the hell is the security? Better get the rocket spanish class if you want to live here....soooo sorry I moved in and I am scared every night of what I might wake up to either a break in or my car vandalized......and maybe I will break my lease...Orlando Police better step it up or no one will come to Disney!!!!!!  ,? The latest deception to lure people to rent here. My first neighbor I had to get a restraining order on, go to Domestic Violence court, buy $1000 worth of surveillance cameras, because the men she rents these apts. to are abusive , demented alcoholics whom do not work are defrauding the welfare offices of the U.S. government. They are on section 8 & food stamps. But they chain smoke and booze it up with all the neighbors every night until 2.am. My newest murdock circle menace exposed himself, and urinated in public , he gets so drunk that he actually hooks up with heroin addicts and prostitutes that the manager rents apts to. I cannot stand the loud noise, the hillbillies sit out on the front step, which by t he way is prohibited in the resident handbook. I have called about Larry for two months now and this menace is still keeping me from sleeping until If the FL DEA and the FBI need emloyment dont apply< just move to Murdock Circle Apts in Port Charllotte FL>

Beware....

Unfortunately, all I can say is that there are individuals in the company that are truly wonderful people, and are as nice as they can be. There are others, though, that are majorly going to get theirs when they stand before God at the end of things. They put my son and I out of our apartment right before Christmas, and apparently did so to other families, too. How disgusting. Regardless of what the reasons were leading up to that point, putting people out of their homes for Christmas is the lowest of the low.
They will also lure you in with a lower rent, then when you're there, signing leases, they will hit you with the rest of the costs, which drive your rent up over $100.00 more a month. They will tell you they have rent programs for 'low' income, but when you do the numbers you won't qualify, no matter how little you make.

i am writing u today to inform u that i just got a notice on my door saying that my rent is going up yet again i just got a rent increase this is absurd, to say the least ,i live in st lucie place apartments 288 105 i live on ssi 674.00 per month, they have not given me a raise in 2 yrs, i am now paying 695.00 per month for a one bedroom i always have leaks, i am not renewing my lease i am so sorry i renewed this time, i am requesting my rent go down to 675.00 my mother pays my rrent so i can live here i dont want to be ignored i never get a call back from corporate, which is not professional, sincerely theresa jesselli 772-287-3337

why ???

I moved in to the Concord family last May 2008 happy and looking forward to my new home. I have been having a water problen since then asking for help! sos! please! and no help no water company to check I'm being charged $ 185.00 a month for water in a two bedroom appt...Have been told by employees and neighbors that this problem has been going on befor I moved in and since then for a year now with no help ...so this I ask where is my help PLEASE HELP !!!! The girls here are nice but are not able to help me and they have so much to do ...I feel we can not get to this is a real shame...My Friend @ the local newspaper thinks I should whrite a letter to the Paper and maybe then will get some help!! well I am so stressed about this it is making me sick so many things going on here ?? I just don't get it ?? Broken ,etc HELP!!!!!

Poor customer service

I moved out of the Summer Cove Apartments (St. Cloud) in early July. I am still waiting for my deposit refund. I placed one call to customer service a few days before Labor Day. The voice mail said I would be called back within 24 hours..didn't happen. I tried twice again on Wednesday the 8th; the voice mail said all calls would be returned on Wednesday..they weren't. I tried again this morning and got the same voice mail that the rep would be out of the office until Wednesday the 8th and to "Have a happy holiday weekend! I'm at my wit's end; I could really use the $400 plus that I was told would be returned to me. I am about ready to camp out on their doorstep so that I can talk to a real live person instead of a voice mail.

The Club at Spring Valley

I would NEVER reccomend this company to rent from. I live in fear everyday, watching drug deals,car jackings,shootings etc. We are told we have security, but it's obvious they are non existent and the neighborhood watch lasted long enough to get the signs put up. No kids club, no one watching the pool. I refuse to use the pool due to rowdy and obnoxious residents. Maitnenance is a joke, work orders don't get filled, or it's a sloppy job. Carpets are never cleaned, dryer vents remain full...good fire hazard. Ask me if I would recommend The club at Spring Valley, my answer is a very definent NO!!. Be VERY CAREFUL when looking into this complex, because all too soon you will find your in the ghetto of Miamisburg.
